Orlando Sentinel | February 24, 2016 - Legal analyst Sunny Hostin, who has logged many hours on CNN, is now working for ABC, the network announced Wednesday.

Hostin will be senior legal correspondent and analyst, ABC News President James Goldston said in a note to the news division. She is also a guest co-host on "The View."

Hostin has spent six years at CNN. But before that, she was part of ABC's "World News Now" and "America This Morning."

Goldston praised Hostin for bringing "clarity and context to complicated legal and social justice issues in covering some of the biggest stories of the past decade, including the Bernie Madoff scandal, the George Zimmerman trial, the unrest in Ferguson and Baltimore, the AME church shooting in Charleston and the Bill Cosby rape allegations."

At ABC, Hostin will work with chief legal analyst Dan Abrams and Ryan Smith.
